Job summary

Pathways Health Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for the Hauraki Waihi Community team, based at the Gilmour Street office in Waihi.

You will work 40 hours weekly to support people in achieving recovery goals and wellbeing, with strong emphasis on budgeting, independence, and community connection. Applicants must hold NZCHW Level 4 (or equivalent), a Full NZ Driver Licence, and a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one within 2 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZCHW Level 4 or recognised equivalent.
• Must hold a Full NZ Driver Licence.
• Must hold a valid First Aid Certificate OR be willing to obtain one within 2 months of starting.
• Strong time management and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi required.

• Attend appointments and connect clients with resources.
• Help clients connect with communities and build relationships.
• Foster positive change for a better life.
• Provide medication support.
