Job summary

Drummond & Etheridge in Christchurch is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Rolleston workshop. You will manage job bookings, open jobs, and allocate technicians across field and workshop to meet customer needs.

You’ll coordinate with the Parts Team to source parts, check documentation and warranty paperwork, and keep customers updated on status and quotes. Strong mechanical aptitude and customer focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in agricultural, construction, or forestry equipment.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and coordinate schedules.
• Experience working with customers in a related industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with workplace software and email.

Responsibilities

• Taking job bookings and customer calls, opening jobs accordingly.
• Organising daily job schedules for technicians in both the field and workshop, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Providing job assistance to our technicians in the field and in the workshop.
• Collaborating with our Parts Team to arrange parts required, ensuring efficient and timely communication.
• Checking documentation, including ROs, for accuracy prior to processing and ensuring all warranty paperwork is completed correctly.
• Liaising with customers regarding the status of their machines and preparing quotes as needed.
