Job summary

VIPeople in Christchurch is seeking an organised service operations coordinator to support a busy team of field technicians across Canterbury. You will coordinate day-to-day service delivery, ensuring technicians have the information, resources and support to complete work efficiently.

You will also assist the Auckland team and provide national operational support when required, working closely with the National Service Manager to align resources, customers and internal workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating service operations and field teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling and prioritisation skills.
• Comfort around technicians, contractors and customers.
• Good English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service calls, maintenance work, inspections, installations and projects.
• Allocate jobs by technician skills and availability.
• Coordinate technicians, contractors and operational resources.
• Manage customer bookings, quotes and follow-up communication.
• Monitor workflow, progress and changing priorities.
• Prepare operational reports and KPIs.
• Assist with stock control and procurement as needed.
• Support health and safety, documentation and record keeping.
• Act as main operational contact in the Sockburn office.
