Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in New Zealand seeks a seasoned pre-sales professional to translate complex security needs into compelling solutions. You will conduct discovery, design tailored architectures for datacenter and cloud environments, and drive the technical win during the sales cycle.

Beyond technical mastery, you will deliver persuasive RFIs/RFPs, support POCs, and collaborate with Product Management and Marketing on customer engagements, webinars, and workshops.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pre-sales within high-tech sales.
• Strong ability to translate security needs into solutions.
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Certifications such as CISSP, SANS, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations with prospective customers to understand pain points and map needs to our solutions.
• Design optimal security architectures for complex data center and cloud environments.
• Combine technical depth with sales skills to drive proofs of concept (POCs) and POVs.
• Deliver persuasive presentations that communicate technical value to diverse stakeholders.
• Prepare precise responses to RFIs/RFPs and translate requirements to Product Management.
