Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant technical pre-sales experience, including on-premises solutions and cyber security.

Our client isa leading commercial ISP and technology integration company based in modern offices in Auckland CBD. they are seeking a highly motivated Technical Pre-Sales IT Consultant to support our Business Services Team in driving growth and revenue for Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises solutions.

The successful candidate must have experience in cyber security and be confident and solution-focused. They will work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop, position, and deliver innovative and secure solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions based on Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises platforms.
• Present and demonstrate Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises solutions to customers, including product features and benefits, and architecture diagrams.
• Lead technical conversations with customers, including presentations, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical demonstrations.
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge of the latest Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises solutions, technologies, and trends, with a focus on cyber security.
• Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a focus on cyber security.
• Contribute to proposal and tender responses, including solution design and cost estimates.
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and other events as required.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises platforms and services, with a focus on cyber security.
• Experience in designing and implementing Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises solutions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead technical conversations with customers and articulate complex concepts in a simple and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge and experience in cyber security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification preferred.
