Job summary

Fortinet in New Zealand is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to contribute to our growing cybersecurity portfolio. You will provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers, and translate requirements into robust security solutions.

Responsibilities include tailoring proposals, demos, and POCs; participating in tender documents; and delivering professional services and training for partners. You will work with SDWAN, UEBA, cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in network security or application security.
• Experience handling large enterprise accounts, lab setup and proof-of-concept (POC).
• Excellent knowledge of networking/security solutions (Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, SDWAN, Sandboxing, UEBA, application security).
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of SDN, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment.
• Knowledge of hacking techniques, exploit simulation or penetration testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in providing pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.
• Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients.
• Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.).
• Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs and RFIs, and POC demos.
• Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.
