Mitre 10 is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our store leadership team in Napier/Hastings. You will lead Team Leaders and frontline staff across departments, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring profitability.

You will be highly visible on the shop floor, coaching teams, and maintaining retail standards while managing a roster that includes weekends and store openings/closings.

• Act as Stores Manager in the Branch Manager's absence.

As Retail Manager, you will lead and developTeam Leaders and team members across multiple departments while ensuringoutstanding customer service, sales growth, gross profit achievement, labourproductivity, and retail standards are consistently delivered.

KeyResponsibilities

You will play a pivotal role in the success ofour store by:

• Championing a customer-first culture and driving exceptionalservice standards.
• Maintaining consistent retail operating standards and dailyroutines.
• Creating a positive, supportive, and high-performing teamenvironment.
• Leading multiple departments and coaching Team Leaders to achievestrong results.
• Driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvementacross the store.
• Taking responsibility for leading the store in the absence of theBranch Manager.
