Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Albany is seeking a hands-on Retail Manager who will lead multiple departments on the shop floor, coaching teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong sales results. You’ll be on the floor, guiding staff, supporting customers and driving department performance across service and operations.

You’ll foster a culture of teamwork, maintain presentation standards and develop your people for long-term growth within Riviera Hardware Holdings.

Job description

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of customer-focused departments and support performance across sales, service and operational measures.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend most of your time on the shop floor leading by example, coaching your team, supporting customers and helping your departments perform across sales, service and operational measures.

Customers often visit these departments looking for more than just a product. They're looking for advice, product knowledge and practical solutions to help complete projects around their homes.

Success in this role comes from developing a capable team, creating great customer experiences and leading departments that customers want to shop in. You'll also play an important role in maintaining presentation standards, supporting department performance and helping your team achieve their goals every day.
