Job summary

Finance Now is seeking an energetic Area Manager – Retail to lead the NOW Rewards Visa portfolio across Auckland, with a remote territory focus. You’ll drive partner activation, grow applications and card activations, and collaborate with Product, Credit, Risk and Operations to deliver sustainable growth.

This field-based role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales, account management or partner relationship management.
• Track record of growing customer, dealer or partner portfolios.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into results.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capability.
• Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Great organisational skills and disciplined follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Grow applications, approvals and card activation across partner portfolio.
• Build relationships with existing retail partners.
• Identify and onboard new retail partner opportunities.
• Deliver product training and support to dealer staff.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activity.
• Review portfolio performance and growth opportunities.
• Monitor risk, compliance and portfolio quality measures.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and partner feedback.
• Manage territory with disciplined planning and prioritisation.
