Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional Manager for Joint Replacement in New Zealand. This national leadership role will guide commercial growth, clinical partnerships, and team performance across NZ, with travel to support operations and airports for connectivity.

You will oversee a team of 10 sales professionals, including 3 Associate Territory Managers and 7 Territory Managers, driving revenue, forecasting, and portfolio execution in a fast-paced medical technology environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in implantable medical device sales.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in people leadership or sales management.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets.
• Lead and develop a team of 10 sales professionals (3 Associate Territory Managers and 7 Territory Managers).
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand, hospital priorities, and portfolio objectives.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams, and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage across the country.
• Lead professional execution of product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends to inform regional strategy.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
