Job summary

Stryker New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the Joint Replacement business across New Zealand. This national leadership role enables travel across the country with 20% travel requirement.

You will be accountable for commercial growth, clinical partnerships, and team performance across New Zealand, leading a 10-person sales team, including 3 Associate Territory Managers and 7 Territory Managers. Role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in implantable medical device sales.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people leadership or sales management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or related discipline.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets across the Joint Replacement portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 sales professionals across New Zealand.
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand and hospital priorities.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage.
• Lead product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
