Job summary

BLACK Interiors + Construction Limited in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering, cost estimating, contract negotiation, variations and final accounts for projects up to $20m in value. This role requires strong collaboration with design and construction teams to keep budgets on track.

This position requires a minimum of five years' main contracting experience, proven lead QS capabilities, and excellent time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 year’s main contracting experience, preferably in interiors.
• Proven experience as the lead QS on projects.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• MNZIQS, NZIQS, RICS qualified ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Tendering works and cost estimation.
• Contract negotiation, variations and final accounts.
• Budget control and value management for projects up to $20m.

You will have the ability to unite team members and ensure that projects are priced accurately and managed to budget efficiently.
