About the Role An opportunity exists for an exceptional administrator to join the Surgical Scheduling Team based at Tauranga Hospital as a Planned Care Scheduler/Administrator. The main purpose of this position is to schedule patients appropriately for clinic appointments and surgery at Tauranga or Whakatane Hospital in line with the Ministry of Health requirements. This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to problem solve and think outside the box. It is an important part of a team who work closely together and with multiple stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. It will also require a high level of flexibility as it will be providing support across the whole surgical scheduling team as required. Click here to view the position description. About You To be successful in this position you will have: The ability to work to a high level and provide excellent customer service. You will be a strong communicator both in verbal and written communication while having well developed interpersonal skills. Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in an administrative position. Comprehensive knowledge of patient information systems and have a high level of detail and organisational skills.
