Reform Radiology is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy administration team and help provide an exceptional experience for our patients from initial enquiry and booking through to their onsite visit and delivery of reporting.

This is a varied, patient-facing role covering reception, bookings and administration. We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and comfortable managing competing priorities while providing professional and compassionate service to patients, referrers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating patient appointments across our imaging services and managing referral waitlists.
  • Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients and visitors.
  • Ensuring patients have clear information about appointment preparation, costs and payment requirements.
  • Managing referrals, funding information, invoicing and same-day payments accurately.
  • Responding to patient and referrer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Working closely with radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and the wider administration team to support smooth patient flow.
  • Maintaining accurate patient information and administrative records using COMRAD and other systems.
  • Supporting the wider PCC team across reception and bookings as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in customer service, medical reception, healthcare administration or a contact-centre environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with systems and data.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A professional, positive and patient-focused approach.
  • Experience with patient-management software; COMRAD experience would be an advantage.

Radiology or healthcare administration experience would be beneficial, but most importantly we are looking for someone who enjoys helping people and can contribute positively to a busy, supportive team.

Please note, only candidates already residing and eligible to workpermanently in New Zealand can be considered for this role.
