Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking a Referral & Scheduling Administrator / Receptionist for Cardiology/Respiratory Outpatients. This 1.0 FTE role (80 hours per fortnight) focuses on optimal management and scheduling of patient appointments and may include front-of-house duties in the Outpatient department.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and computer skills, precise data entry of referrals, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions while working

Responsibilities

• Schedule and book patient appointments for Cardiology/Respiratory Outpatients in line with MoH guidance.
• Manage front-of-house duties when required and greet patients.
• Ensure accurate intake of referrals and maintain appointment wait times.
• Support the department with timely information and coordination.
