Job summary

Hands On Rehab, part of Geneva Healthcare Group, is seeking an enthusiastic clinic receptionist for our Auckland network. This on-site role supports busy South Auckland clinics, helping patients and clinicians with a friendly, professional touch.

You will coordinate appointments, greet visitors, manage records and ACC documentation, and contribute to a smooth patient journey. Prior reception or healthcare experience is helpful, and you’ll thrive in a busy team environment.

Qualifications

• Warm, approachable personality with a genuine desire to help people.
• Strong communication skills for patients, visitors and clinicians.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in records.
• A proactive, team‑driven attitude.
• Comfort with basic IT and learning new software quickly.
• Healthcare reception or front-of-house experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate appointments and manage clinician diaries.
• Support patients with enquiries and provide a positive experience throughout rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ACC documentation and clinic administration processes.
• Work closely with therapists and the wider team to support exceptional patient care.
• Build positive relationships with patients, referrers and healthcare partners while delivering outstanding service.
