Windsor Physio Invercargill is seeking a friendly, reliable receptionist to welcome patients, answer phones, manage appointments and keep clinic administration running smoothly.
No healthcare experience is required, but attention to detail, great spelling and computer skills are essential. Opportunities for extra hours across clinics; Thursday afternoon shift at South City Clinic is part of the role.
Jora New Zealand will close on 16th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
Looking for a workplace where people actually matter?
Windsor Physio has been part of the Invercargill community for more than 40 years. We're a locally owned, family-oriented business where people genuinely look after each other.
We have six clinics, 14 physiotherapists and a great reception team, and we're looking for another friendly, reliable person to join us. We work hard, support each other, have a few laughs along the way. We believe in creating a workplace where people feel valued.
About the Role
You'll be the friendly face patients see when they walk through the door and the calm, helpful voice on the phone. This is more than just answering phones and booking appointments. You'll be an important part of the patient experience and the wider Windsor Physio team.
You'll be responsible for:
Welcoming and helping patients
Answering phones and managing appointments
Booking and rebooking patients with the right clinician
Taking payments and processing invoices
Lodging ACC claims and referrals
Keeping patient information accurate and up to date
Managing paperwork and correspondence
Liaising with GPs, insurers and other providers
Helping with general administration and keeping the clinics running smoothly
We're a busy practice and can have over 100 patients coming through the doors on a busy day, so you'll need to be comfortable juggling priorities while still getting the details right.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail are non-negotiable. We need someone who notices the little things, checks their work and takes pride in getting it right.
You don't need experience in physiotherapy or healthcare, although this would be an advantage!
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with people
Highly organised and naturally detail-focused
Confident with computers and accurate with typing
Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills
Calm and reliable when things get busy
Flexible and happy to help wherever needed
Good at following processes and taking ownership
Someone who uses initiative rather than waiting to be asked
Discreet and respectful when dealing with confidential information
A positive team player who enjoys being part of a close-knit workplace
What We Offer
A friendly, supportive and genuinely people-focused workplace
A team where people look out for each other
A locally owned, family-oriented business
Potential for additional hours and responsibility for the right person
Competitive hourly rate + KiwiSaver
Thursday: 12.30pm - 5.30pm - South City Clinic, Martin Street
There may occasionally be a need to cover additional shifts or work across our other clinics, so some flexibility is important.
Applicants must have full NZ working rights.
