We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team.
This is a part-time position working 20 hours across 3 days per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist who enjoys being part of a busy general practice, providing excellent patient service, and understands how important an efficient and welcoming reception team is to the successful running of a medical centre.
As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a positive and professional experience from the moment our patients arrive at the practice.
Your responsibilities include:
You will be warm, professional and confident, with the ability to build rapport quickly with patients and colleagues.
You understand that working in general practice can be busy and unpredictable and therefore you are able be calm, organised and solution-focused while managing competing priorities.
You will be a great communicator who is reliable and brings strong attention to detail
Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to recognise what needs to be done without always needing to be asked.
Display a genuine commitment to the principles and practice of health equity, including providing culturally safe and inclusive service to all patients.
Most importantly, you will genuinely enjoy working with people and understand the importance of treating every patient with kindness, dignity and respect
