We are looking for a friendly, confident and reliable medical receptionist to join our busy healthcare team in South Auckland. This is a 40 hour (1.0 FTE) role.

Our clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. This position will include a range of shifts, including some evening and weekend work.

You will be one of the first points of contact for our patients, both in person and over the phone. You will meet people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to treat everyone respectfully and politely are essential.

The successful applicant will:

Have previous medical reception experience - Medtech Evolution/32 is essential.

Have a friendly, professional and polite telephone manner

Communicate clearly and respectfully

Remain calm and professional in a busy environment

Be comfortable working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds

Work well as part of a team

Be punctual reliable, organised and able to manage competing demands

Be available for some evening and weekend shifts

Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident, or hold a current visa giving the right to work in New Zealand.
