Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand seeks a proactive leader to drive operational excellence across a store workstream. You will collaborate with the Team Leader and the swarm to ensure efficient, compliant processes and high standards for fresh items, product presentation, and timely issue resolution.

You will develop teams, train staff, and act as Store Manager when needed, while supporting Better Together initiatives and a culture of care and respect.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Excellence: ensure accurate and timely completion of routines and oversee standards for fresh items.
• Drive Visual Merchandising: manage product presentation and displays and markdowns.
• Champion Team Development: train and coach the swarm, foster a safe work environment.
• Proactively Resolve Issues: escalate issues and run health checks for improvements.
• Provide Store-Wide Leadership: step in as Acting Store Manager on shifts and support collaboration initiatives.
