Job summary

Woolworths Group NZ is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to manage daily workflows in a busy store environment. You will execute operational routines, lead a swarm of team members, and provide coaching and on-job training to ensure accuracy and efficiency. A strong emphasis on safety and standards will guide your day-to-day decisions.

You’ll be required to lead teams, participate in weekend shifts, and collaborate across functions to deliver outstanding customer experience and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operational Routines: follow set routines to complete processes accurately and on time.
• Lead Team & Training: supervise the swarm; provide on-job training and coaching.
• Champion Safety: promote a safe and healthy work environment by following protocols.
• Resolve Issues & Support Store: escalate issues for resolution and step in as Acting Store Manager when needed.
• Foster Collaboration: strengthen team collaboration and communication across teams.
