Job summary

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage process flow and order fulfillment across a busy store environment. You will supervise the swarm, train teammates, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while responding to issues promptly.

In this role, you will split attention between process excellence, team collaboration, and delivering exceptional customer service. Weekend shifts and at least one evening per week are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in process optimization and continuous learning.
• Ability to work four weekend shifts per month and at least one evening each week.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Management & Order Fulfillment: follow set routines for timely, accurate completion and ensure online orders are picked correctly and food quality standards.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: lead the swarm, provide on‑the‑job training, coaching, and step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: identify and escalate process-related issues to drive effective solutions.
• Safety & Wellbeing Advocacy: champion a safe, healthy environment by following safety protocols and prioritizing team wellbeing.
• Collaboration & Communication: participate in team collaboration and cross-functional communication initiatives.
