Job summary

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking a hands-on operations-focused leader to drive excellence across an assigned workstream. You will collaborate with your Team Leader and swarm to ensure efficient processes and adherence to guidelines.

In this role, you’ll lead product presentation, coach teams, resolve process issues, and step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts, contributing to a dynamic, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Excellence: ensure timely routines, food safety compliance, and production standards.
• Drive Visual Merchandising: manage product presentation, displays, promos, facings and removals.
• Champion Team Development: coach the swarm, provide on-the-job training, foster safety.
• Proactively Resolve Issues: elevate issues and conduct health checks for improvements.
• Provide Store-Wide Leadership: act as store manager on shifts and support collaboration initiatives.
