We're looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to work a minimum of 3 half-days per week. (14-15 hours) For the right candidate, there is scope for flexibility around the hours and sessions to be worked.
The Medical Receptionist's role is pivotal as they generally provide the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, ensuring that everyone is made to feel welcome and their needs acknowledged. Forming part of the Administrative Team, Medical Receptionist's help to co-ordinate the provision of our services by managing a wide variety of calls and messages, making and prioritising appointments, handling payments and liaising with our Practice Nurses and GP's.
Good interpersonal skills are essential. You must be friendly, helpful, reliable, punctual, accurate, flexible and discreet. Good time management and attention to detail are important. This role requires constant use of a computer, so applicants must be comfortable using IT. Medtech Evolution experience would be an advantage, although prior work experience in a similar position, particularly in a medical or allied healthcare setting, is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
