Job summary

The Warehouse in Clendon (Auckland) is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer for a part-time role. Hours are Sunday to Tuesday: 3:30pm - 9:30pm. You will help prevent theft, ensure staff and customer safety, and maintain a visible shop-floor presence.

Previous customer-facing experience is beneficial, with good communication and a calm, proactive attitude. Training and opportunities for progression are available within the The Warehouse Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.

• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Conflict de-escalation ability is beneficial.

Hours of work are:

• Sunday to Tuesday:3:30pm - 9:30pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
