Job summary

The Warehouse in Auckland is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your primary focus is preventing theft and safeguarding staff and customers during Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring security cameras, maintaining a visible presence on the shop floor, and assisting customers while addressing concerns. No prior LP experience is required; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are valued.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Hours of work are:

• Sunday & Monday: 12:00pm - 8:15pm
• Tuesday: 5:15pm - 8:15pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
