The Warehouse Group in Rangiora is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to help prevent theft and ensure the safety of staff and customers. You will monitor CCTV, maintain a visible shop-floor presence, and engage with customers while linking events to our crime reporting platform.

Hours are part-time: Sunday and Monday 4:30pm–9:00pm. Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial; strong communication and de-escalation skills are valued. Career progression opportunities are available.

Qualificações

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are important.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods; ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts.

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours of work are:

• Sunday &Monday 4:30pm - 9:00pm

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
