Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of staff and customers on the shop floor.

You will monitor security cameras, maintain a visible presence on the sales floor, and interact with customers to address concerns while promoting a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are desirable.
• You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours of work are :

• Wednesday to Saturday 10:00am -7:00pm

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
