Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer at The Warehouse Clendon to help prevent theft and safeguard staff and customers.

This part-time role requires a proactive approach, good communication, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Training will be provided, and you will work Sunday to Tuesday evenings.

You will collaborate with the store team, use security systems, and contribute to a safe shopping environment while earning valuable experience in retail security.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Hours of work are:

• Sunday to Tuesday:3:30pm - 9:30pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
