The Warehouse Group is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. You will help prevent theft, ensure staff and customer safety, and maintain a secure shopping environment during Sunday and Monday evening shifts.

You will monitor cameras, be visible on the shop floor, engage with customers, and log events on our crime reporting platform. Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus; strong communication, calm under pressure, and a willingness to learn are

• Experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial but is not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation would be beneficial.

Hours Of Working Are

• Sunday & Monday 5:00pm - 9:00pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
