The Warehouse in Auckland is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to help prevent theft and ensure the safety of staff and customers. Your focus will be on monitoring security systems and maintaining a visible presence on the shop floor.

Job Description

Hours of Work are:

• Sunday & Monday: 8:00am - 2:30pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
