Job summary

systemsGo is seeking an IT Support Technician to join a team based in Auckland at our client’s office. The role involves delivering Level 2 desktop support on-site, assisting with IT and AV equipment via helpdesk and remote channels, and completing project tasks as directed by the client.

Occasional after-hours work is compensated accordingly. You will work in challenging IT environments to develop your skills, with a focus on clear communication and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Pro-active, customer focused, and comfortable dealing with end users directly.
• Able to describe issues clearly to end users and client management, and report on results effectively.
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems including ServiceNow.
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 desktop support at client’s office
• Provide helpdesk and remote support for IT and AV equipment
• Complete project tasks as instructed by the client
• Occasional after-hours work with appropriate compensation
