Job summary

The Training Practice – Wellington Central, North Island – is seeking a learning and development professional to design and deliver engaging leadership and development programmes. You will grow a strong client base through regular contact, marketing and networking and maintain excellent client relationships.

You will research and create workshop material, coach individuals, and use assessment tools for individuals and groups, while delivering consultancy on learning frameworks and needs analyses.

The Training Practice – Wellington Central, North Island

You'll develop and deliver engaging learning and development programmes, grow a strong client base through client contact, marketing and networking, and create and maintain excellent relationships with clients. You'll research and create workshop material, coach people one-to-one, use assessment tools with individuals and groups, and carry out learning and development consultancy such as developing learning frameworks and training needs analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate engaging and effective leadership, communication, team building, strengths, diversity and inclusion, and other learning and development programmes


• Grow a strong client base through regular client contact, marketing, promotions and networking


• Create, build and maintain excellent relationships with clients


• Research and create workshop material and new products that look great and promote curiosity, authenticity, courage, and learning


• Coach people one-to-one


• Use a variety of assessment tools with individuals and groups


• Carry out learning and development consultancy, such as developing learning frameworks and carrying out training needs analyses


• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, including people at all levels


• Facilitate and deliver workshops to a first-class standard


• Draft proposals to offer services to clients
