Job summary

Business Training New Zealand Limited in Wellington is expanding its roster of facilitators for leadership development and soft skills workshops. We are seeking passionate, experienced trainers who can motivate, educate, and make learning enjoyable while delivering sessions across the Wellington and Manawatu regions and travelling nationwide as needed.

This is an independent contractor role with a competitive daily rate, flexible scheduling, and the chance to join NZ's leading nationwide

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering leadership development workshops.
• Flexible, engaging, inclusive training style.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel domestically within NZ.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Deliver leadership development and soft skills workshops.

• Travel to client sites nationwide as required.

FACILITATOR/TRAINER Leadership Development/Soft Skills

About the Role

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced facilitators who can motivate, inspire, educate, and make learning fun! If this sounds like you, and you’d be interested in working with us on an independent contractor basis, we would love to hear from you! To keep up with the massive demand for our products and services, we are currently looking for additional facilitators who are based in the Wellington and Manawatu regions, and are open to travelling to deliver training nationwide.

Skills and experience

Preferred Skills, Attributes & Qualifications - What do you need to be successful?

• A proven track record and experience in delivering leadership development courses in a workshop setting.
• A flexible, engaging, supportive and inclusive training style.
• The ability to use a variety of learning concepts, theories and practices, incorporating adult learning principles
• Approachable, friendly, outgoing and professional – a positive and proactive mind-set, a sense of humour and a can do attitude.
• Business experience including business ownership and/or management/leadership experience is desirable.
• A relevant bachelor's degree or above is desirable but not essential
• Articulate and able to communicate confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage the administrative aspects of the role
• Be honest, reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Able to travel domestically
• Valid driver's license and own transport
