Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking an entry-level recruitment support role where you’ll learn the industry from the ground up. You’ll work closely with senior consultants, support day-to-day recruitment activity, and gradually build the skills needed to manage your own clients and placements.

No recruitment experience is required. If you’ve worked in customer service, sales, hospitality, administration, retail, labour hire, or any role where you’ve had to stay organised and deal with

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Organised and reliable with good attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Speaking with candidates and clients daily
• Assisting with sourcing, screening, and onboarding workers
• Coordinating interviews, bookings, and placements
• Supporting consultants with day-to-day recruitment activity
• Following up with workers and clients throughout the week
• Keeping systems and candidate records up to date
• Learning recruitment, compliance, and workplace processes
