Job summary

Fidelity Life in Auckland is seeking a Solutions Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity. Reporting to the Head of Solutions, you will deliver adviser and partner-focused solutions, stay ahead of regulatory changes, and leverage technology to provide business consultancy and competency development.

Key duties include leading the Adviser Edge programme lifecycle, shaping Career Connect, coordinating adviser accreditation training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 preferred.
• Related tertiary or professional qualification in financial services, learning and development, business or a related discipline is desirable.
• Experience in learning and development, programme delivery or adviser education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Solutions team in delivering the full lifecycle of the Adviser Edge programme, including design, platform development, onboarding and engagement.
• Own and shape the Career Connect programme to grow adviser talent.
• Support adviser accreditation training, onboarding for new advisers, and annual accreditation processes.
• Develop and deliver clear learning modules aligned to product enhancements and priorities.
• Use strong presentation skills to deliver online and in-person training for advisers.
• Manage the learning and development platform to provide a user-friendly learning experience for advisers.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Solutions, the Solutions Consultant 12-month, fixed term opportunity plays a key role in delivering Solutions offerings, with a particular focus on professional development for advisers and corporate partners. The role works closely with customers, advisers and partners to understand their needs, stay across regulatory changes, and leverage technology advancements to deliver impactful business consultancy and individual competency solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Solutions team in developing and delivering the full lifecycle of the Adviser Edge programme, including programme design, platform development, adviser selection, onboarding, engagement, events, strategic activations and continuous refinement.
• Own and shape the Career Connect programme, supporting Fidelity Life's commitment to growing the industry and developing new adviser talent.
• Support the delivery of training for Fidelity Life adviser accreditation, oversee onboarding for new advisers, and ensure annual accreditation of existing advisers is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and deliver clear, effective learning modules that are easy for advisers to understand and retain, working with KSH and internal teams to remain aligned to product enhancements and business priorities.
• Use strong presentation skills to deliver online and in-person training, ensuring advisers have the knowledge and confidence to deliver Solutions offerings.
• Manage the learning and development platform to provide a user-friendly and resource-rich learning experience for advisers.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

• NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 preferred.
• Relevant tertiary or professional qualification in financial services, learning and development, business or a related discipline is desirable.

Experience:

• Experience in banking, finance or life insurance, with exposure to key functions within life insurance organisations.
• Experience in learning and development, programme delivery, adviser education or business consulting.
• Experience using or managing learning management systems and delivering engaging learning experiences.

Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to build clear, professional presentations and training materials.
• Confident using digital learning platforms or learning management systems.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, both online and in person.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with advisers, partners and internal teams.
