Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington, Auckland, is seeking a motivated Casual Kitchen Hand to support our busy kitchens across Banquets, Restaurant and Pastry. Flexible shifts and a hands-on team environment.

You’ll contribute to a clean, safe kitchen, bring good time management, teamwork, and a positive can-do attitude. NZ work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Hand is desirable.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness.
• Be a team player and communicate effectively.
• Must have the right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Support busy kitchen across Banquets, Restaurant and Pastry.
• Keep work areas clean and safe for all staff.
• Assist during busy periods and maintain smooth kitchen operations.

What we need from you:

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Hand is desirable
• The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting our busy kitchen team and maintaining a clean and safe working area for all
• Excellent time management and works well under pressure
• An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
• Be a team player and excellent communicator
• Have a positive can-do attitude and bring your best every day
• You must already have the right to work in NZ
