Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington is seeking casual F&B Attendants to join our friendly Wellington's Restaurant team. You will deliver warm, attentive service across our restaurant and conference spaces, handle food and beverage service, and contribute to smooth cash and card transactions.

As a flexible team player, you’ll cover rotating rosters including days, evenings and weekends, upsell where appropriate, and uphold Primeproperty standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service with high standards and attention to detail.
• Experience in all facets of restaurant service is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude.
• Remain composed under pressure and on a rotating roster.
• NZ work rights and LCQ/First Aid certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service in our restaurant and conference spaces.
• Provide high standard food and beverage service and manage cash/card handling.
• Actively identify opportunities to upsell to guests.
• Stand and walk for extended periods while assisting guests politely.
• Flexibly work across locations and teams to meet service requirements.

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington is looking for casual F&B Attendants to join our friendly, hands-on Wellingtons Restaurant team. We are located in a central yet peaceful location on the edge of the Panmure Lagoon.

About You

• A passion for customer service, high standards of service and excellent attention to detail.
• Is ideally experienced in all facets Restaurant service.
• Have the ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude
• Keep a cool head whilst working under pressure
• Must be able to work on a rotating roster that covers, days, evening/night & weekends.
• Are available to start as soon as possible.
• If you already have your LCQ and First Aid Certificate this is advantageous
• Must have the right to work in NZ

About the Job

The F&B Attendant:

• Is responsible for ensuring exceptional service is delivered to guests, within our restaurant and conference/banquets environment, in accordance with Primeproperty standards and house rules.
• Actively contributes to the efficient operation and revenue generation of the restaurant or conference by providing a high standard of customer service, cleanliness, food and beverage service, preparation and effective cash and card handling.
• Actively identifies opportunities to upsell
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period while accommodating guests effectively and politely.
• Is expected to be flexible in location/team, in order to most effectively deliver on our F&B service requirements.
