Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre is seeking a motivated Casual Kitchen Hand to join our team in the lead-up to the busy season. You will support across our busy kitchens—Banquets, Restaurant and Pastry—and help maintain a clean, safe working environment.

We offer a positive working environment, flexible hours to fit around commitments, and rewards for a job well done. This is a casual role with shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends at our Mount Wellington site in Auckland.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen support is desirable.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support busy kitchen teams across Banquets, Restaurant, and Pastry.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all kitchen areas.
• Communicate effectively with the team and adapt to busy periods.

What we need from you:

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Hand is desirable
• The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting our busy kitchen team and maintaining a clean and safe working area for all
• Excellent time management and works well under pressure
• An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
• Be a team player and excellent communicator
• Have a positive can-do attitude and bring your best every day
• You must already have the right to work in NZ
