Job summary

Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre in Mount Wellington, Auckland, is looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent for casual hours to join our friendly front desk team. The role includes handling guest enquiries, reservations, and cashiering with accuracy, in a central yet peaceful location near Panmure Lagoon.

You will work across AM, PM and weekend shifts, support the Duty Manager, and help maintain security and high presentation standards while delivering genuine hospitality to guests.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience in Front Office in a Guest Services role.
• Experience using Opera clould is preferred.
• A passion for customer service, high standards of service and excellent attention to detail.
• Is confident and experienced in all facets of Front Office duties.
• Have the ability to multi-task with a can-do attitude.
• Keep a cool head whilst working under pressure.
• Shifts available cross AM, PM and weekend shifts.
• Are available to start as soon as possible.
• Must have the right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Duty Manager and team to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the Front Desk, assisting guests with enquiries, reservations, housekeeping requests, settling guest accounts and ensuring cashiering is accurate.
• Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
• Maintain high hotel standards and ensure guest safety and comfort is paramount.
