Job summary

South Link Health is seeking an IT support professional to provide responsive first and second-level support across a diverse range of users and technologies in New Zealand. The role covers Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and support for Medtech Evolution and Practice Management Systems.

You will work on-site with a focus on system improvements, security initiatives, and IT project support, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 2 years’ experience in an IT support or technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, networks, and user account management.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with Medtech Evolution, Practice Management Systems, Azure, Linux, Windows Server, or remote support tools would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive first and second-level IT support to internal and external users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server and network environments.
• Provide first-level support for Medtech Evolution and Practice Management Systems.
• Support remote and mobile users using remote support tools.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Assist with IT projects, system improvements, technology deployments, and security initiatives.
• Work with vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
