Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge Aotearoa seeks a Napier-based Housing Services Referral Coordinator. You will be the first point of contact for housing referrals, coordinating entry, transfer, and exit of tenants with Accommodation Services, and providing phone and written support to referrers.

The role emphasizes strong administrative and communication skills, documented processes, and community engagement with whānau.

Qualifications

• Permanent part-time role with 20 hours per week.
• Napier based; first point of contact for referrals.
• Strong admin and communication skills; documentation.
• Ability to engage with whānau and community.
• Eligibility to work in NZ; driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for housing referrals from social service agencies.
• Coordinate entry, transfer and exit of tenants with Accommodation Services.
• Provide phone and written support to referrers.
• Maintain well-documented interactions across teams.
• Engage with whānau to understand and meet needs.
