Qjumpers is seeking Homecare Support Workers for Hastings & Napier in Hawke’s Bay. The role involves providing supervised personal cares, home management welfare checks and medication supervision to clients.

Most shifts occur 8am-11am and 4pm-6pm, with work available 10-20 hours per week and occasional weekend cover. You must have a current First Aid certificate (ideally) and a Level 2–4 Health and Wellbeing certificate.

Qualifikationen

• Current First Aid Certificate preferred.
• Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2–4 preferred.
• L2 qualification may be gained during induction.
• Full valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Excellent reliability and work ethic.
• Understanding of Tikanga and Te Reo Māori or willingness to learn.
• Enthusiasm, energy, initiative and flexibility.
• Whakawhānaungatanga – able to connect with whānau.

Jobbeschreibung

The Role

We are looking for carers who can work during the week and at least part of a Saturday or a Sunday.
Most cares are provided between the hours of 8am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm over 7 days a week.
We provide supervised personal cares, home management welfare checks and medication supervision.

The difference with our service is that we provide cares with aroha and manaakitaunga.

We have mahi available in Napier and Hastings and will schedule mahi in the town that you live in.
We have permanent hours available from 10 - 20 hours per week.
We are also looking to increase our pool of casuals who can provide cover for our permanent staff, particularly on the weekends.

You will need your own reliable vehicle to travel from client to client.
We pay at the Pay Equity Hourly rates plus a travel allowance which covers travel costs and the time it takes to travel between clients.

About You:

• A Current First Aid Certificate [ideally]
• Level 2, 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate [preferred]

• Full Drivers Licence
