Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, customer service, trade, wholesale, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial awareness with understanding of sales performance and customer service.
• Confident communicator who builds relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Organised and proactive with ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Self-motivated with desire to progress into branch leadership.
• Must be NZ resident or citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day branch operations.
• Lead and motivate the team when the Branch Manager is absent.
• Coach, mentor, and support team members to achieve their potential.
• Drive exceptional customer service and strengthen customer relationships.
• Assist with achieving branch budgets, sales targets, and business objectives.
• Support pricing discipline, margin performance, and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee branch operations, stock management, and workflow improvements.
• Promote accountability, ownership, and a positive team culture through leading by example.
