You’ll support customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email, ensuring prompt, professional interactions and accurate handling of stock and branch operations.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service or sales experience, ideally in a trade or retail setting.
• Strong organisation and accuracy in handling transactions and stock.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building rapport.
• Comfortable using Point of Sale software, or similar systems with strong attention to detail.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach and willingness to support the team.
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of NZ.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors promptly and deliver proactive, friendly customer service.
• Answer enquiries quickly across phone, email, and counter with solution‑focused support.
• Complete sales transactions accurately, efficiently, and in line with branch processes.
• Enter customer, sales, and stock information into systems promptly and accurately.
• Manage stock movement, returns, and replacements to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and well‑organised branch environment while supporting general branch activities.
