Job summary

Taituarā is seeking a Customer Experience Officer - Frontline for our Te Awamutu office. It is a full-time fixed-term role through to 26 February 2027, with immediate availability.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, working at the front counter and handling enquiries and transactions across Council services. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontline customer service is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers at the front counter.
• Respond to enquiries and process transactions across Council services.
• Work across a range of Council systems and learn internal processes.
• Provide quality customer experiences with a positive attitude.
