Hutt City Council in Lower Hutt is seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives on a full-time fixed-term contract until end of June 2027. The role is based in our vibrant Contact Centre with hybrid working options.

You will be on the front line, handling inquiries via phone, email and face-to-face, delivering an excellent customer experience from a friendly team. Join us to support our community and grow professionally.

About This Role

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and inspiring Customer Service Representatives (full-time (40 hours p/w)) to join our small and vibrant Contact Centre on a fixed term contract - until end of June 2027. Our contact centre is open Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, and works out of our lovely building in Laings Road, Lower Hutt, close to cafes and Queensgate.

What You'll Do

You'll be on the front line and often the first point of contact for our customers via various channels including phone, email and face to face. No two days are the same, you'll receive a real variety of requests, questions and feedback from a diverse range of people. If you have strong customer service skills and are committed to providing an awesome customer experience, then we want to hear from you!
