Job summary

Draeger is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Auckland, NZ, to test, install, maintain, and repair Draeger medical devices, ensuring quality outcomes for customers. The role leverages ICU anaesthesia and ventilation device experience and involves regular travel across New Zealand.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with 3+ years in biomedical field service, strong customer focus, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Biomedical or Electronics).
• 3+ years’ proven field servicing for biomedical devices.
• Trained with ICU Ventilators and Anaesthetic equipment maintenance is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to break service requests at client sites across NZ.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturers testing and replacement schedule.
• Install new devices and upgrades with basic operating instruction and orientation.
• Perform field corrective actions to remove product defects and reduce risk to patient health and safety.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing teams to aid sales.
