Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Infection Control based in Auckland. You will manage preventative and reactive maintenance on Getinge equipment at customer sites across the North Island, building strong customer relationships and supporting installations.

The role requires electrical/EST licensing for 380VAC equipment, a valid NZ driver’s licence, and a customer-service oriented mindset. Travel will be required across NZ as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical or EST licence to work on 380VAC equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and a valid NZ Driver's Licence.
• Right to work in New Zealand; strong customer-service orientation.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining teamwork.
• Previous field service/MedTech experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Getinge customers through excellent service.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on Getinge equipment at customer sites.
• Support installations of Getinge capital equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment returns to full operation.
• Coordinate with Service Co-ordination before attending sites.
• Complete service documentation using a mobile device.
