Job summary

MIT in Auckland is seeking a Building & Maintenance Services Coordinator to join our Building & Maintenance team. This full-time role covers maintenance planning, minor capital works and contractor management.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in building services maintenance, with trades or tertiary education in Electrical, Mechanical or Buildings Services. BMS/HVAC knowledge, MS Office, and familiarity with the NZ Building Code are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in building services equipment maintenance.
• Trades or tertiary education in Electrical, Mechanical or Buildings Services.
• Experience with BMS, HVAC and/or Building Services equipment is desirable.
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code and Health & Safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building services maintenance planning and minor capital works.
• Manage contractors within the facilities environment.
• Support contractor selection and performance monitoring.
• Ensure activities comply with NZ Building Code and safety requirements.
